A Wisconsin native, Heather has a B.A. in Arts & Media Management and a M.S. in Curriculum & Instruction. Her love for marketing has been a constant throughout her life in which she's worked in several areas of marketing including: Publicist, Website Designer & Sales, Fortune 500 Media Planner, Social Media Manager, Amazon Copywriter, and Editor for several digital publications. Heather's love for small business has lead her to be a serial entrepreneur, and consultant for other startup and small businesses. On any given day, you can find Heather talking with current and potential clients on their marketing goals, finding new opportunities for her clients to network with each other, going down the online research "rabbit hole" on the latest social media and marketing specs, or her favorite...spending time with her two daughters.

Fun Fact: Heather worked as a Special Education Teacher for 13 years in Wisconsin and Arizona, and hold's a lifetime teaching license. 

Abril Alejo, Graphic Designer/Web Design

Abril is our lovely multidisciplinary designer who resides south of the border. Abril serves as our Lead Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Website Designer. She enjoys helping start-ups and small business owners to leverage their brands through innovative digital products and custom aesthetic designs to meet their marketing strategy goals. Abril’s industry experience includes working with a broad range of clients from hospitality to music, film, and law. Fun facts about Abril: she played American female football as a tight end for several years, is a vegan, loves rock music, still uses her first Hotmail address, and self-taught herself English as a second language. 

Jocelyn, Graphic Designer

Jocelyn is our graphic designer and illustrator with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She loves combining her marketing and graphic design backgrounds to create colorful and eye-catching designs for clients. Jocelyn has experience with designing logos, t-shirts, stationery, book illustrations, and various graphics for social media. When she's not designing, she's spending time with her daughter, trying a new DIY project, drinking mimosas, and eating tacos! Jocelyn is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.  

Rachel

Social Media Manager

Rachel is our Lead Copywriter with an MA in Creative Writing. She graduated in 2019, from West Chester University and has been managing businesses’ online presence ever since! Rachel enjoys a challenge and loves working with a wide variety of businesses. To date, she’s worked with authors, law firms, musicians, dispensaries, non-profit organizations, and more. While she has a background in social media, she also enjoys flexing her creative writing skills by penning long-form articles for non-profit organizations. Her greatest strengths are her dedication to helping businesses form an online identity and reach new customers. In her free time, Rachel enjoys teaching children how to write and improve their written language skills.

Monica Cull, Copywriter

Monica is our copywriter and editor. She's an avid traveler with her own travel blog and has been to 46/50 states in the US. When she's not writing or traveling she's usually spending too much money on concert tickets!

Zanubea Flowers, Copywriter

Zanubea is a member of our copywriting team and hails from the beautiful city of Miami, Florida. She has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Florida A&M University and recently won “Best Screenplay” from The Miami Urban Film Festival. If you need a script written for film or video, Zanubea is the perfect storyteller to get your message across to your audience. 

Gabrielle Nagle, Digital Analyst

Meet Gabrielle, our behind-the-scenes Digital Analyst. Gabrielle loves numbers and each month she's analyzing spreadsheets to determine our clients' engagement rates, top content, follower counts, and paid advertising ROI. Gabrielle is passionate about client relationship building, social strategy, and digital marketing. She graduated with her Associate's from Milwaukee Area Technical College and Bachelor's in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Gabrielle has experience in non-profit, educational, corporate, and agency communications. Gabrielle is fueled by coffee and chaos, is an amateur photographer, loves 90's rap, and though she loves the outdoors...she's afraid of butterflies!

Kristen, Admin Assistant

Kristen is our Administrative Assistant who has a passion for art and design. While studying at Seminole State College and The University of Central Florida, she enjoyed freelance work with small businesses seeking to boost their online presence. Kristen is looking forward to collaborating with businesses that work with Harper Social Media to support them in their on-boarding, and social marketing research needs.
